This New York artist’s exploration of light and shadow has lead to performances, installations and this winsome alternative to an oil lamp--or yet another candle. The farther the lumen is from the wall, the larger the shadow from the acid-etched form. As the flame flickers, the soft shadow moves about organically. Adam's lumen is fashioned from a stainless steel body with a polyethylene base so it will not scratch even the most delicate surfaces. Comes with two 17-hour liquid wax fuel cells.
