We could go on about frequency response, bus powering and other techie terms (and we will). But first: how great do these speakers look? They remind us of the vents on a cruise ship or atop the Pompidou Center. Very industrial, very streamline. We are audio geeks here at A+R (well, Andy, specifically). And we've never seen a better-looking set of computer speakers than these. The build quality is amazing and the speakers require only one USB2 port for audio and power. Mac users (that's us) simply plug in and go; Windows users are served by the CD install disc that's included. Cables coil away underneath the speakers for storage. If you prefer to use them away from a desktop, they can be used with an AC adapter (not included) and a mini-jack cable (included). Compact, portable, and smart, these speakers give a whole new meaning to plug and play.
