Paris designer Christophe Vialle conjures a Mondrian scheme of the indoor garden with his new Haute Culture line of boxed grass and greens. Give your table or desktop a pop of color and life. Start with something green from the Prêt-à-Pousser collection (that’s Ready-to-Grow kits), the enclosed growing mixture—grass, peas or basil seeds and Polyter, a singular technology that reduces watering by half and provides the mini “lawn” with essential nourishments. The first shoots appear in about four days. In about a week to 10 days, voila! A mini garden. Refill potting mix--a.k.a. the Prêt-à-Pousser collection, or Ready-to-Grow kits--means an endless garden. Acrylic containers come in crystal clear or vibrant colors. And Christophe considered every detail, down to the recycled kraft box packaging printed in quality vegetable ink.
