Butler, an American silversmith trained in London’s historic silversmithing home of Clerkenwell, created this utterly unique design. This streamlined piece, rendered in polished stainless steel (18/10) and made in Germany, is a bit of a departure from the intensively crafted, high-end sterling silver his mostly private clientele have collected from him for more than a quarter of a century. But it is no less a piece to use, stash away and later hand down. Each rattle is stamped with “RA Butler. Germany,” and cleverly packaged for gifting.
