Make your mark. For Karen Kimmel, thats more than a catchy slogan. Through her Art of Exchange stencil workshops, Karen fires up kids and their families to explore shapes, colors, perspective and creativity. She's now extending her rainbow of illuminating tools with Kimmel Kids. The L.A.-based artist has created sculptural installations for MOCA Chicago, Barbican in London, Scottsdale Museum of Fine Art in Arizona, and Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions; and commissions for Fendi and Ferragamo. Karen launched Art of Exchange during her residency at Creative Growth in Oakland in 2006. Now everyone can try their hand at her organic shapes, and make their very own marks. The neon pencils are from Germany, and everything else is made in L.A. Rose thinks the zip cases make great coin purses, too.
