Play Hooky Satchel

"Play hooky from conventional messenger bags!" say young Taipei designers Chay Su and Rika Lin. This satchel is from Chay and Rika's clever and cool collection of trompe l’oiel bags under the aptly called JumpFromPaper label. The line is a 3-D realization of 2-D doodles by the gals, an exercise in op art with pop art colors and styling. Believe us, we had to hold these in hand before we could believe it with our own eyes! Slim as these bags appear, they are actually roomy enough to carry your life (from magazines to an iPad to…). A zipper along the base expands the satchel for extra space.
