Replacing the Art Deco-inspired stepped base of the iconic Original 1227, this version features a space-saving clamp to attach it to a desk or worktable. Otherwise founder George Carwardine's 1932 Anglepoise design is authentically intact, with its 4-spring mechanism that combines freedom of movement and perfectly calibrated balance. With the traditional chrome fittings and characteristic shade silhouette, the desk lamp comes in black, white, slate grey or an allover polished chrome finish.
