Inspired by original designs from the Anglepoise archive, this space-saving version of Original 1227 can be securely hard-mounted to a desktop. Designed by George Carwardine and launched in 1935, the pioneering task lamp is considered the originator of the British brand’s spring-arm technology that delivers unrivaled flexibility and balance. The color-matched Desk Insert has a cast-iron body and plated steel fittings and will free up much-needed desk space and help keep work surfaces clutter-free.
