Refined upholstery options bring added personality to the Fiber Chair from Muuto within the overarching goal of a "design without eccentricity.” Copenhagen-based design duo Iskos-Berlin has reworked a modernist icon, the molded shell chair with back, seat and armrests all in one. Their 21st Century version is rendered in an innovative material with an appealing matte finish, in a hybrid of plastic and wood fiber. And the contrast of sleek shell seat with a tactile wood base in oak brings a warm note to many an interior space.
