The longstanding Danish custom of hygge is all about warmth and contentment—the very same virtues that provide the template for Simon Legald’s cozy lounge chair. The designer says his Hyg seating gives "a feeling of peace and security" with its embracing contours and a broad seat that allows for a wide range of relaxed positions. Enveloped in a fine textile or rich leather, the chair's concave form is the perfect spot for contemplation, relaxing with a book or snuggling up for a relaxed conversation.
