As a high-style desk accoutrement or simply for general illumination in a room, this table lamp is a sophisticated melange of romantic Nordic inspiration and high-tech lighting technology. Danish designer Sofie Refer found her touchstone in the warm light of a Scandinavian autumn and fashioned Blossi to give off a transporting warm, even illumination. Reflected in the lamp's beautifully rounded, mouth-blown glass shade, the light emanates from a specially developed LED disc rated to function for 50,000 hours. With its slimly elegant gold-tone base or the new black finish, the table model adds a discreet finishing note to any setting.
