Plush tufted upholstery denotes the deluxe version of Verner Panton’s iconic S-shaped dining chair. System 1-2-3 swivel seating fulfills his desire “to design furniture that grows up out of the floor—to turn (it) into something organic and never with four legs." With either a brushed aluminum disc or polished chrome butterfly base and its sinuous foam-padded form, Panton’s 1973 view toward the future lives on as a timeless paragon of style.
