From martinis to margaritas, the minimalist carafe is the perfect mixer to complement Fferrone's unique drinkware. Whether you prefer your libations shaken or stirred, the set has you covered—it includes the large glass pitcher, polished stainless steel strainer and stir stick. In the glass vessel, hand-blown by Czech masters, liquid appears to float on air. The high-quality borosilicate glass goes from hot to cold, microwave to freezer and, of course, to the dishwasher. Revolution has been honored with a Good Design Award and placement in the permanent design collection of the Art Institute of Chicago.

“I’ve always known I wanted to work for myself, and I always knew I wanted to be in some kind of design director role," says the founder of Fferrone. “It really wasn’t until the Revolution Collection of glassware that it finally happened. It allowed me the opportunity to figure out all the ‘moving parts’… that couldn’t be done well while working for someone else.” For Chicago’s Felicia Ferrone, that followed an initial stint as an architect in Milan working under notables such as Antonio Citterio and Piero Lissoni.
Minimalist contours, an unwavering attention to detail and an often whimsical sensibility characterize the designer’s much-awarded work, both for her own company and for clients such as Boffi, Volume Gallery and Covo. “I knew I also wanted to be free to pursue design with established brands along with more self-directed work,” adds Felicia, “and having my own studio allows me that freedom of choice.”
