Consisting of a pair of foldable clamps that lock a wooden plank in place without any assembly screws, the spare lucidity of Torben Slov's bench reflects his background as a graphic designer. It's a multipurpose piece of furniture—a seat, of course, a coffee or side table, a low shelf—that's instantly disassembled for moving. Hand-welded clamps in acid-proof stainless steel are paired with an untreated pine plank, available in 3 different lengths and made in Denmark for Copenhagen brand A. Petersen.
