Vis à Vis Sofa: Limited Edition

The sofa is a surrealist design originally conceived in collaboration with designer Jean-Michel Frank. This limited-edition piece reflects Dalí's fascination with blending art and everyday objects, transforming the sofa into a functional sculpture. It features a solid wood frame upholstered using traditional techniques, including conical springs for enhanced comfort. The exterior is clad in black crepe satin, accented by polished brass trim along the upper backrest, giving it a refined yet whimsical character. Part of BD Barcelona’s Black Label edition, this piece showcases all-black finishes with elements like darkened brass and luxurious silk. Designed to encourage interaction, this sofa embodies Dalí’s playful reinterpretation of bourgeois furniture, creating an intimate "face-to-face" seating arrangement.
