Description

A significant footnote to the legacy of Danish design, this 1955 easy chair was acquired by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip on a visit to Copenhagen. Considered a signature work of Ib Kofod-Larsen, its delicately curved armrests display skillfully chamfered detail. Now reintroduced by Brdr. Petersen for production in Denmark, the low seat height and the sleigh-like backrest place it firmly in the midcentury furniture canon.
