When Milan-based Japanese designer Keiji Takeuchi envisioned a compact upholstered bench for public areas, he landed on a rounded rectangular shape with an instinctive appeal. Loaf resonates with comfort in a family that includes a singular pouf (with castors) and 2- and 3-seater versions (with fixed glides). The units can be arranged randomly in a space or in a more orderly configuration, each fitted with side handles for added maneuverability.
