Visionary designer Flemming Lassen’s 1935 sofa Vilhelm, named for his father and the counterpart to the Ingeborg chair in honor of his mother, is defined by its graceful curves and taut upholstery tufted with 24 individual buttons. Clad in luxurious sheepskin with solid-oak legs, its sheltering contours invite genial conversation or contemplation solo. The rounded corners frame the sofa and also make it possible to situate it as a statement piece in the middle of a room if desired.
