Description

Inspired by the Japanese art of kumiko—the woodcraft used for centuries to create intricate latticework screens—Chilewich adapts the tradition in a metallic 12-sided placemat. Kaleidoscope gleams with a natural motif that suggests leaves in a geometric configuration. The tonalities shift in a subtle ombre effect as the openwork fills in toward the bottom of the design.
