Calé(e)'s asymmetry seemingly becomes a meditation on form at the intersection of its 2 spheres in this diminutive floor lamp from French maker CVL. Conceived by Parisian studio Pool designers Léa Padovani and Sébastien Kieffer, the contrasting cylinders of the base and stand are emphasized by the choice of matching or differing metal finishes for each element. Topped with a shade in either white or black, Calé(e) yields beautifully modulated illumination.
