A Midcentury design known around the world, Børge Mogensen's now-classic seating draws on other simplified furniture like Shaker chairs. The Hunting Chair, part of Fredericia's Spanish collection, also follows that country's tradition of using sturdy leather to construct the seat as part of a wooden structure. Seen from the side, what’s most notable about the chair is the inviting casualness of its sharp diagonal slope from the edge of the front seat measuring only about a foot above the floor.
