Midcentury designer eminence Hans J. Wegner devised 1788 Easy Chair as a counterpart to his Spoke-Back Sofa, both debuting in 1974. At once visually elegant and extremely comfortable, it features replaceable cushions upholstered in a custom choice of fine fabric or soft leather with the backrest attached with leather straps. Fashioned in solid oak, the armchair comes in oiled and soaped finishes as well as natural or black lacquer.
