Recasting a postwar French classic for the outdoors, Gubi finds the slender footprint of C-Chair makes it ideal for smaller urban gardens and terraces — or simply to fit more people at a table when dining al fresco. Designer Pierre Paulin's proportions have been fine-tuned for comfort today and the seating is beautifully crafted in untreated plantation teak that weathers to a fine grey patina. Seats and backrests are tightly woven from an outdoor all-weather fiber for comfortable and carefree utility.
