With an iconic silhouette derived from multiple rounded metal shades, Louis Weisdorf's circa-1972 Multi-Lite makes for an standout floor lamp. With repetition of a single element as a constant theme, the designer focused on both form and function in the golden era of Danish style. The rotating metal shades attached to the brass framework can be aimed up or down—or in combination—to direct the light as desired. Weisdorf's equal emphasis on utility assures that the eye is also shielded from direct bulb glare at all angles.
