Famed Danish designer Louis Weisdorf created lighting that often used repetition of a single element to both dramatic and practical effect. His timeless 1972 Multi-Lite reflects the golden era of Nordic design with its characteristic shape composed of multiple rounded metal shades. By individually rotating the shades attached to the brass framework, the pendant can be transformed into varied arrangements with the light directed upwards, downwards or both. Just as importantly to Weisdorf, the elegant construction shields the eye from direct bulb glare at all angles.
