The Shinra Coffee Table is part of HIDA’s Shinra series, created by sculptor Atsuhiko Misawa as an expression of nature’s presence in furniture. Rooted in the idea of “a single tree forming a forest through a chain of trees,” the design connects each piece to the forest and evokes touch, presence, and natural continuity. With its substantial top and clean proportions, the table balances material gravitas with an organic, grounded character that brings warmth and depth to a living space.
