A pioneering woman in her field, Bodil Kjær debuted her dining chair in 1961 as part of the Principal series with an architectural slant. Cache features a smartly upholstered circular seat and rounded backrest that offsets the geometry of the straight-lined wood framework. Clad in a choice of leather or fabric, the Danish designer’s seating is crafted in either solid oak or walnut with a clear matte lacquer to go with the matching dining table (also at A&R) from Copenhagen maker Karakter.
