Karimoku Case and Norm Architects team up for a handsome solid-oak armchair with a seat in fine woven paper cord. Working together to renovate the interiors of Tokyo’s landmark ‘80s Kinuta Terrace apartment, the seating was designed with a welcoming simplicity. Reflecting the airy feeling of the courtyard-adjacent project, the armchair is beautifully detailed with turned legs and a rounded backrest, set off by the rich woodgrain.
