FK 87 Grasshopper Chair

A sculptural chaise longue that balances relaxed lounging with precise construction, the FK 87 Grasshopper Chair is defined by a slender steel frame, available in chrome-plated or black powder-coated finishes, supporting a suspended canvas sling and generous loose cushions with integrated neck support in aniline leather. Its low, elongated silhouette encourages reclining while adding a distinctive visual presence to living rooms or lounge settings. Designed in the late 1960s by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm, the chair is made in Denmark by Lange Production using original tools and methods to preserve its mid-century character and craftsmanship.
