Vetra’s striking LED lighting series gets a floor model with the stem attractively divided into unequal parts, a feature that breaks the symmetry and also provides an outlet for the lamp's cable. The fine blown-glass shade is actually a completely closed ring that encircles the light source, serving as a reflector. Joan Gaspar's design radiates a brighter, glare-free glow than typically expected, with light directed downward for activities like reading—adjustable with a foot-operated progressive in-line dimmer— while also illuminating the matte-glass halo shade.
