In the Mexican state of Oaxaca, colorful concrete facades interplay with the natural shadows to create complex plays of light on streets. The Unidad is among a series honoring the essence of the cities here, with its bold graphics in this region, where designer Jezarely Miguel’s parents hail from. The former interior designer splits her time between this homeland and her Portland-based studio, which she founded in 2021. In Oaxaca, she collaborates with a family of artisans to produce these sustainably made rugs. Multiple sizes available, including custom orders upon request.
