Canopy takes both its look and its name from the ceiling plate commonly used to conceal a light’s wiring. Designer Francesco Rota expands on the idea by exaggerating the dome shape, making the large-sized metal lampshade his striking focal point, in a choice of milky white or matte bronze. Reflecting off the whitened inside surface, a ring-shaped LED diffuses a soft, sinuous illumination into the surrounding environs.
