SZ14 Armchair

Walter Antonis joined 't Spectrum — the Dutch modernist furniture maker — as an upholsterer, studied under head designer Martin Visser, and produced the SZ14 the year he graduated, in 1971. The chair is built on his core premise: use only what's necessary. A high-gloss chrome frame, a black saddle leather, nothing else. Antonis still names it among his most successful designs. Pastoe brought it back into production in 2023, unchanged in every dimension that matters.
