Francesco Faccin's minimalist Pelleossa seating readily adapts as a low-backed bar stool. The Milanese designer€™s concept pairs a solid-ash structure with a stretched leather or fabric seat€”the chair€™s name literally translating as €œskin and bones€ to reflect its essential simplicity of line. Pelleossa is produced with a conventional lathing technique, where the repetition of only 2 diameters optimizes the usable material, yielding its fine turned-wood detailing.
