The very simplicity of Pilota's sculptural metal seat makes for a prime jumping-off point for a variety of provocative seat coverings in the hands of design studio Brichet Ziegler. Upholstery ranges from sleekly quilted black leather to tactile brown cord to gentle rose wool to the whimsy of grey faux fur, each paired with deliberately chosen contrasting hues for the aluminum base's finish. Comfort also enters into the equation, with the chair's generous contours just made for happily lounging.
