The Toscana Lucca Sideboard, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, is a rectilinear piece crafted to serve as a focal point, whether positioned centrally in a room or against a wall. Its structure is composed of walnut-veneered MDF, complemented by glossy lacquered MDF fronts. The central module features an internal ribbed tempered glass shelf, providing both functionality and aesthetic appeal. For added convenience, the sideboard includes internal lighting and an LED strip along the back surface, enhancing its visual presence. The hinged doors, designed without handles, open to 90 degrees. Dordoni explains that the design aims to deconstruct volumes through contrasting finishes, varying thicknesses, and directional veneers, with glossy modules appearing embraced by a robust wooden perimeter.
