Brooklyn designers Luft Tanaka and Shaun Kasperbauer looked to the soaring suspension outlines of the Manhattan Bridge as well as construction techniques used on early aircraft carriers for the Strut Shelving they produce in their studio. With its clarifying simplicity of form and versatile modular scheme, the system is both highly functional and adaptably flexible. In a choice of powder-coated finishes and metal-plated options, it serves equally well in both residential and commercial interiors. Shaun and Luft named the studio they founded in 2013 Souda, which loosely translates in Japanese as "Oh yeah!"... and that's exactly how we feel about the Strut.
