Hewing to Stellar Works’ signature meld of Nordic and Asian touch-points, Oslo-based designer Hallgeir Homestvedt conceives Ori, a versatile dining chair. With a nod to a type of bamboo scaffolding seen in Asian cities like Hong Kong, the tubular steel frame traces a light trajectory in its gentle curves. Carefully rendered with its powder-coated finish and veneer laminate seat and back, the chair is at home in both private and public environs and conveniently stackable when not in use.
