Stone Spice Grinder

From his Stone collection, Brit designer Tom Dixon's spice grinder is derived from the same marble used to build the Taj Mahal. It's the simplest of tools, using the applied pressure from the palm of a hand to roll the ball and pulverize spices. And there's but a pair of striking elemental forms— a rimmed bowl carved from a solid block of marble and a white-clad, marble ball.
