Both once-trained in cabinetry, Nordic designers Jakob Thau and Sami Kallio share a deep affinity for wood and hand craftsmanship as reflected in the solid oak version of their Betty stacking chair. Aptly named for Copenhagen’s Betty Nansen Theatre, a wood pavilion originally built in 1857, their seating shares the same sense of timeless utility—an “old soul” as they put it. With its clean lines, Betty TK2 is an elegant update, available in select lacquered colors or natural oak woodgrain finish.
