Duo Side Table

For her Duo, London-based designer Chifen Cheng draws her inspiration from the geometric concept "vesica piscis"- when the shape of two circles with the same radius overlap. Translated as a captivating side table, a metal frame supports two round surfaces, the upper in smoked tempered glass that allows light to pass through and the bottom in painted metal. For Chifen, who has always been intrigued by the way lines and shapes intersect space, it's all about pulling off the tricky visual balance between delicate and strong for a lasting semblance of of tranquility
