We’re seeking an organized, motivated leader and pro-active collaborator to be instrumental in taking our digital platform and marketing to the next level as eCommerce + Digital Marketing Growth Manager.

This hands-on professional will manage online activities—overseeing a Shopify-based ecommerce site and subsequently managing the ongoing development of new features and design (in conjunction with an outside design/build agency), from maintaining a first-rate online experience for customers, to engagement and conversion toward revenue and profitability.

Working under the direction of the company founders, this individual will apply analytical and critical thinking skills to this full-time role, while supervising freelance members of the web team.

Marketing, including strategy, is an integral responsibility, from graphically rendering imagery for the website front page and conventional printed materials to collaborating on conversion-driven social media marketing.

We are a high-performing modern furniture, lighting and decor resource—retail and trade showroom—based in downtown Los Angeles, with an e-commerce website and a brick-and-mortar shop front. Founded in late 2005, with a website launched in 2006, we are an energetic, lean, agile and optimistic culture that conducts business internationally.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+Site maintenance, including editing, auditing and maintaining.
+Create and manage product SKU’s and pricelists.
+Manage product posting online with a sense of expediency.
+Collaborate and coordinate implementation of new website design and features with outside design/build agency.
+Research and implement Shopify apps to compliment website (inventory, Adwords etc).
+Oversee digital marketing efforts to drive traffic and sales, including all SEO, ad words, social media ads, etal.
+Research and integrate new software and other technologies to maximize infrastructure and/or site workflow and keep company at the forefront of developments in digital commerce and marketing.
+Capable of creating, analyzing, and interpreting data, and translating the results into campaign best practices.
+Assist in design and implementation of dynamic html newsletters, social media and website front page and other related web pages.

SKILLS+EXPERIENCE:
+Energetic drive and analytical, critical, data-driven thinking.
+Strong technology background and versed in digital marketing.
+Experience in leading and growing an online enterprise and email list.
+Adept at Apple Operating Systems, Microsoft Office (with a good understanding of Excel), Photoshop, Illustrator.
+Shopify experience (or similar platform) preferred.
+Some knowledge of Mailchimp, Dropbox, Trello.
+Demonstrated ability in web design (HTML, CSS, UX).
+Understanding of Google Adwords and Analytics.
+Quick learning and comfortable with new technologies.
+Work independently with minimal supervision, while also being able to collaborate and lead internal and external teams.
+Oriented toward accuracy, organization and detail.
+Team player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
+Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Excel +Attention to detail, flexible and adaptable. +Ability to apprehend how disparate systems work together. +Ability to balance multiple projects. +Problem solving and adaptable. +Graphic design skills. +Ability to manage a team. +Keen eye for design and understanding of retail/consumer products are both a plus.
