The downtown Los Angeles showroom might be closed for now—but business ticks on.
As an independently owned small business, our team is like family. Each one of these amazing individuals is now safely working from their own homes, relying on the many tech channels to keep everything on track for you, our customers. The website continues to operate for now, with social distancing measures in place among essential warehouse staff.
Thankfully, we all remain busy with queries from individuals and continuing projects from our trade clients. We are grateful to you for your patronage, support and patience through this time. We have always taken pride in being nimble, creative and responsive, and we are putting those qualities to work to ensure our team thrives; our clients are well taken care of; and that we all come through this together, stronger.
With the crisis escalating in Italy and throughout Europe, our wonderful brands are reporting some delays on existing orders. As we learn about any issues, we are doing our best to update you accordingly. This situation is fluid, and we appreciate your understanding through this.
While we isolate, we also draw strength from looking outside our individual bubbles: to help sustain vulnerable communities through this uneasy time, we at A+R are actioning several initiatives. Among them: a percentage of sales purchases from the first 4 days of A+R’s annual BIG Sale will feed thousands via our superhero neighbors, the nonprofit L.A. Food Bank.
As our sale and a few brand sales continue through month’s end, a percentage of those sale purchases between March 17-31 will go to the national chapter of Feeding America. This incredible nonprofit has set up a COV-ID Response Fund, providing supplies to food banks across the country. Heck, you don’t even have to buy anything to help: donate direct.
With the showroom closed, deal hunters can now virtually visit our new Instagram account @aplusrdesignoutlet, showcasing lighting, furniture and décor featured in the sale at up to 80% off.
These are extraordinarily uncertain times. What is certain is the extraordinary power we all have within us to get through this together. Draw strength from unplugging, heading outside for a stroll or to inhale. Resist panic hoarding and instead safely support a local indie restaurant or shop. Find purpose in helping. Donate. Even a couple of bucks can benefit someone in need.
Most importantly of all, be kind to yourself and to others.
We’re here for you,
Andy+Rose and Team A+R
