While the material is notoriously difficult to work with, Carlander harnesses its durability and dyes it in various shades to emphasize its tactile qualities and visual rhythm. Inspired by the interplay of movement and pattern, the design carries subtle influences from Japanese tatami mats. Available in 4 sizes.
