Suggesting the pouf of cosmetic powders or a Technicolor take on the oxidation of an aging mirror, this unusual mirror by designer Constance Guisset riffs on these concepts and the idea of "pigments vanishing on water." These vividly inky splashes near the rim are printed digitally. The slightly convex backside is affixed with a cord loop at the center, allowing the mirror to tip forward off the wall in a nod to antique Venetian mirrors. Francis is available in 2 sizes and 2 colorways.
Constance is among the singular talents who collaborate with Petite Friture, among her most iconic being the Vertigo pendant lights also by the French house (and available at A+R). Her work has also been executed by a number of houses in line with her out of the box design ideas.
