Description

As studio E-ggs' series for Miniforms has evolved, Shiko—a bed frame echoing the traditional Japanese tatami but raised on 4 legs—adds a headboard fashioned from solid wood and woven Vienna straw. Both lightweight and sturdy, it creates a light and airy environment while also lending a bit of playfulness. Named for the ritual exercise performed by sumo wrestlers to chase away evil spirits, the bed seems to evoke a similarly peaceful nocturnal mood.
