The Koba Table by Jean-Marie Massaud for Zanat is a striking centerpiece that combines functional innovation with exceptional craftsmanship. Its design pairs a cone-shaped base in solid black-stained maple with a tabletop framed by a 4 cm-thick ring of Zimbabwe granite, finished with a burnt, textured surface that offers both tactile depth and visual contrast. At the center, a hand-carved wooden Lazy Susan is seamlessly integrated into the stone, adding warmth, sculptural presence, and practical ease for shared dining. The insert is also removable for convenient cleaning—an elegant detail that highlights the table’s thoughtful balance of artistry and usability.
